BY THE READER – I know that I declared smoothie bowls “almost over” in my yearly predictions for 2018, and I maintain my position, but Vitality Bowls in Aksarben Village does the best bowl I’ve ever eaten. Drank? Drunk? Consumed. Specialized bowls for energy or focus, live foods, and satisfying textures make the meal-in-a-bowl your new go-to for on-the-go. With Eat Fit Go recently filing for bankruptcy and closing two locations in Omaha, meal preppers and those looking for a better bite have a new place to call home.

BY COMMUNITY IMPACT NEWSPAPER – Vitality Bowls will open a second location in Frisco in April at 5729 Lebanon Road, Frisco. The first location opened in 2017 on Eldorado Parkway. Vitality Bowls specializes in making acai bowls, which is a thick blend of acai berry topped with organic granola and a selection of superfoods.

BY THE BELLINGHAM BUSINESS JOURNAL – Vitality Bowls, a fast-casual health food restaurant, is opening soon near the Regal Barkley Village movie theater. The restaurant is set to replace the TCBY location at 3011 Cinema Place, #101. Vitality Bowls is a chain of restaurants serving superfood bowls, smoothies, juices, sandwiches, salads and soups with locations across the country. The restaurant is set to open in the spring, according to the Bellingham Herald.

BY OMAHA WORLD-HERALD – Vitality Bowls, which has a menu focused on healthy eating, plans a second Omaha location at 2825 S. 170th Plaza.
The restaurant’s original location is in Aksarben Village at 1922 S. 67th St.
Katie and Tony DeSantis are the owners of both locations. The restaurants specialize in açai bowls, which are blended açai berries with a variety of toppings.
Vitality Bowls is a California-based chain and serves many “superfoods,” including graviola, acerola, mangosteen, camu camu, spirulina, aronia, moringa, maca, bee pollen and more. The restaurant also has a full-service coffee bar.
