A superfoods cleanse after all the Thanksgiving indulgence!
@vitalitybowls is known for their açaí bowls and now they added a menu of savory items like grain bowls, salads, wraps and toasts.
I recommend the chicken pesto grain bowl and superseed toast. Next time, I’d like to try the chimichurri steak bowl. It’s so popular, they ran out. Of course, their açaí bowls are a must!
The savory menu is available at selected locations, including the Mountain View location (@mountainviewbowls).

Vitality Bowls Comes to Fort Worth Via NFL Veteran, Damon Harrison

FORT WORTH MAGAZINE
A self-dubbed “superfood café” is making its Fort Worth debut, thanks to a former NFL player who goes by the nickname, “Snacks.”
Former NFL defensive lineman, Damon “Snacks” Harrison — whose nine-year career includes stints with the New York Jets, New York Giants, and Detroit Lions — has signed an agreement open Fort Worth’s first Vitality Bowls in mid-2022 (exact location to be determined). The shop specializes in smoothies and smoothie bowls, salads, grain bowls, wraps, and toasts — all featuring healthy ingredients like organic açaí, greens, grains, and more.
“I’m very particular about what I attach my name to, especially when it comes to food. If it’s not something I’d eat or let my kids eat, there’s no chance I’d be associated with it,” Harrison said in a statement. “Vitality Bowls, with their commitment to providing healthy eating options that are also delicious, checks all the boxes for a restaurant brand that I want to be a part of. I can’t wait to open up my café and spread the superfood movement in Fort Worth.”
As franchisee, Harrison also plans to open a Rockwall-area location following Fort Worth. Vitality Bowls already has seven cafés in the Metroplex, including Dallas, Frisco-Eldorado, Frisco-Starwood, Las Colinas, McKinney, Plano, and Southlake.
November marks Vitality Bowls’ 10-year anniversary. Founders Roy and Tara Gilad first launched the brand in San Ramon, California, growing it to more than 140 locations open or in development across the U.S.
“We are thrilled to have an athlete of Damon’s caliber join us to spread our superfood movement further throughout the country and make healthy eating more accessible to all,” Tara Gilad, president and co-founder of Vitality Bowls, said in a statement. “Damon is a wonderful addition to our franchise family, and I’m excited for him to grow our presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.”

Vitality Bowls, which specializes in açaí bowls, has signed an agreement with former NFL defensive tackle Damon “Snacks” Harrison to open a location in Fort Worth. Harrison’s location will join the seven Vitality Bowls in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including in Dallas, Frisco-Eldorado, Frisco-Starwood, Las Colinas, McKinney, Plano and Southlake, according to a company press release.
Harrison, who had a nine-year career playing professional football, is planning for a mid-2022 opening in Fort Worth. The health-focused fast casual restaurant will grant local residents, professionals and visitors access to an assortment of nutrient-dense foods not found elsewhere. Following this opening, Harrison is planning to open another location in the Rockwall area.
“I’m very particular about what I attach my name to, especially when it comes to food. In addition to açaí bowls and smoothies, the brand serves salads, grain bowls, wraps and toasts.

I discovered Acai Bowls when I visited Hawaii and ever since I’ve have been searching for a quality Acai Bowl in Omaha. I found this gem and have always enjoyed their bowls. They just celebrated 3 years of business. Congrats! I’m so happy for Omaha to have such a gem. They recently came out with a new menu including Grain Bowls and Wraps. I tried it over the weekend and loved it. This is one of my favorite healthy places to eat in Omaha.

Pickerington Restaurant Vitality Bowls Superfood Cafe Expands Menu In Time For Winter

Pickerington Restaurant Vitality Bowls Superfood Cafe Expands Menu In Time For Winter

LANCASTER EAGLE GAZETTE
PICKERINGTON — The local Vitality Bowls Superfood Cafe has been open since March 2019. But owner Cyndi and Terry Roberts expanded the menu in September in time for winter.
Now along with acai bowls, juice and smoothies, customers can also enjoy salads, grain bowls, wraps and toasts.
But what exactly is an acai bowl?
“An acai is a purple berry from Brazil,” Cyndi Roberts, a Baltimore native, said. “It’s really high in fiber, protein and anti-oxidants. It’s blended with frozen fruits and vegetables, so it’s thicker than a smoothie. You have to eat it with a spoon. And we cover everything with organic granola, top it with fresh fruit and finish it with more superfoods.”
Vitality Bowls Superfood Cafe is located at 1510 Stonecreek Drive South in The Shoppes at Stonecreek. It offers dine-in services, to-go and pickup orders. Cyndi Roberts said the COVID-19 pandemic is probably spurring the demand for to-go orders and pickup orders.
“Our one-year anniversary in March 2020 COVID hit,” she said. “We’re still here so we fared well. We went quickly to take-out only and pickup. We also have DoorDash and Uber Eats for delivery. So we were able to pivot probably quicker than most.”
