Superfood Cafe To Open In Cumming Offering ‘Vitality Bowls’
BY PATCH – The California-based restaurant chain is opening a location in Cumming and will feature a menu of made-to-order dishes.
Vitality Bowls, renowned for its dynamic cafe vibe and superfood menu filled with extraordinary tastes, has signed an agreement with local entrepreneur, Joan Bell, to open the first cafe in Cumming. Following the opening of the Cumming cafe, Bell plans to open additional locations in the area.
“The fresh ingredients and superfoods that Vitality Bowls offers are unlike any other fast-casual
eatery options in the Cumming area,” said Bell, an aesthetician and health and nutrition enthusiast. “Vitality Bowls really embodies the high-quality health standards we raised our family on, and I want everyone in Cumming to experience that as well.”
Originating in Northern California and specializing in acai bowls that feature a thick blend of the
Amazon’s antioxidant-rich berry, topped with a variety of superfoods – Vitality Bowls has solidified itself as America’s superfood cafe. All items on the menu are made to order for each customer and prepared in a kitchen designed to avoid cross-contact for customers with food allergies. No ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, added sugar or artificial preservatives are used, giving the purest taste possible to each menu item.
The menu features a wide variety of unique superfoods, including graviola, acerola, mangosteen, camu camu, spirulina, aronia, moringa, maca, bee pollen and more. Guests can choose from a variety of options, such as the Green Bowl (with organic graviola, spirulina and hemp seeds), the Dragon Bowl (featuring organic pitaya, coconut milk and bananas) and the signature Vitality Bowl (with organic acai, strawberries and honey). Plus, fresh juices, smoothies, soups, panini and salads are available in each cafe.
“Joan is exactly the right entrepreneur to grow the brand in Cumming,” said Tara Gilad, co- founder of Vitality Bowls. “She has outstanding business intellect, and we are eager to see Joan fill the demand for a healthy fast casual cafe in Cumming.”
There are currently more than 100 Vitality Bowls restaurants across the United States open or in development. There are four other locations in Georgia, including in Alpharetta, Atlanta – Midtown, Dunwoody and Peachtree City.

BY THE MORGAN HILLS TIMES – Ngo is planning for a summer opening. The café will be located near Target at 1053 Cochrane Road, Suite 180.
Following this opening, Ngo is planning to open two additional locations in the Bay Area.
“The fresh ingredients and superfoods that Vitality Bowls offers are unlike any other fast-casual eatery options in the Morgan Hill area,” said Ngo, who brings a background in previous restaurant ownership and food industry experience to the new café. “My first bite of an açaí bowl at Vitality Bowls was a game changer. I want to bring that same experience to everyone in Morgan Hill.”
