Riverside County News Source Murrieta, Calif. – Vitality Bowls, which offers açaí bowls, smoothies, fresh juice, and panini, has signed a lease with local entrepreneurs, Michael, Stephanie, and Daniel Struckhoff, to open the renowned superfood café in Murrieta. With plans for a Spring 2021 opening at 29910 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, in the Vons center, the Struckhoffs are already planning on opening additional locations in the area.
The health-focused fast-casual restaurant – which features a unique collection of superfood menu items containing extraordinary ingredients packed with antioxidants and high nutritional values – will grant local residents, professionals and visitors access to an assortment of nutrient-dense foods not found else.
Roy and Tara Gilad founded Vitality Bowls in 2011 in Northern California. The duo started the superfood café concept as a result of discovering their daughter’s severe food allergies and over the last decade, the brand has solidified its status as a pioneer in the health food industry.
Named in Franchise Times 200+ list and Inc. Magazine’s 500/5000 list and Restaurant Business’s Future 50 list in 2018, and ranked #15 and #62 on Entrepreneur’s Top Food Franchise in Miscellaneous Quick-Service Restaurants and Top New Franchises lists in 2019, Vitality Bowls also received the Best Franchise to Buy — New Ethnic Eats Category 2019 Zor Award and was listed in the Top 200+ List for franchises based on global systemwide sales by Franchise Times.
Since franchising began in 2014, the cafés – which feature safe, healthy food alternatives – have grown to more than 135 locations open, with others currently in planning and development.

Guests can choose from a variety of delectable options, such as the Green Bowl (with organic spirulina and organic hemp seeds), the Dragon Bowl (featuring pitaya, coconut milk and bananas) and their signature Vitality Bowl (with organic açaí, strawberries and honey). Plus, fresh juices, smoothies, soups, panini and salads are available in each café.
